The DAC80004IDMDT is a quad 16bit, 1LSB INL, buffered, voltage output digital to analogue converter in 14 pin VSON package. This device is highly accurate, low power, voltage output DAC. The reference input of DAC is buffered internally using a dedicated reference buffer. It incorporates a power on reset circuit that ensures DAC output powers up at zero scale or mid scale depending on status of POR pin and remains in this state until a valid code is written to the device. It consumes very low current of 1mA/channel and contains a power down feature that reduces current consumption to typically 3µA at 5V. Device use a versatile 4- or 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 50MHz. It also include a SDO pin to daisy chain multiple devices. The interface is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI, Microwire and digital signal processor (DSP) interfaces. It is used in PLC analogue output module (4mA - 20mA), closed loop servo control and data acquisition systems.
