The MAX5236EUB+ is a single supply, voltage output, dual, precision 10bit digital to analogue converter (DAC) in 10 pin µMAX package. This industry's smallest and most accurate DAC consumes 325µA from single 3V supply. It has output buffers that swing rail to rail. The internal gain amplifiers (1.6384V/V) maximize the dynamic range of DAC output. The MAX5236 has 13.5MHz 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI/QSPI/and MICROWIRE. Each DAC input is organized as an input register followed by a DAC register. A 16bit shift register loads data into input registers. Input registers update the DAC registers independently or simultaneously. In addition, programmable control bits allow power-down with 1Kohm or 200Kohm internal loads. The MAX5236 is used in automatic test equipments, digital offset and gain adjustment, motion control and microprocessor controlled systems.
