The HD3SS460EVM-SRC is an Evaluation Module for evaluate the operation and performance of HD3SS460, a high-speed passive crosspoint switch designed to support low speed and high speed signal switching required for type C with alternate mode applications. The board comes with a legacy USB receptacle to connect to legacy USB systems, a DisplayPort receptacle to connect to DisplayPort capable source. There is no on-board CC/PD controller. The board has test headers that can be used to connect CC and/or other necessary signals to an external type-C controller to evaluate the type-C implementation.
