The S08SU-EVK from NXP is a sensorless BLDC control reference design board. This reference design is based on NXP's highly-integrated 8-bit S08 microcontroller MC9S08SU8/16. With its compact design, the BLDC control board can achieve great performance with very low cost. The reference design can be used as an evaluation kit for S08SU MCU, a reference for creating one's own BLDC control-related design, as well as an applicable three-phase sensorless BLDC solution. Sensorless BLDC control under ultra-high supply voltage (up to 18V) is now widely needed in tones of applications such as drone ESC, DC fan etc.
