Curiosity Starter Kit for 8-Bit PIC Microcontrollers
The Curiosity Starter Kit from Microchip is a flexible fully integrated 8-bit development platform designed for first-time users and experienced design engineers alike. Offered is a feature-rich, rapid prototyping experience for Microchip 8-bit PIC® Microcontrollers. The Curiosity takes full advantage of the Microchip easy-to-use MPLAB® X Development Environment with an integrated programmer/debugger, no other hardware is needed to get started.<,BR/>,<,BR/>,On-board the Curiosity features a MikroElektronika mikroBUS™ socket that makes adding extra functionality effortless. Simply add-on one of the numerous MikroElektronika Click™ accessory boards to explore a wide range of different applications and technologies. Adding Bluetooth communications is easily achieved with the installation of the Microchip RN4020 Bluetooth Low Energy Bluetooth module. Interface devices are also provided, the board is pre-populated with physical switches, an mTouch™ capacitive button and an on-board potentiometer.
